We set up opportunities in the different areas for the children to play but also leave areas free for the children to choose their own resources and use their imagination to play. 

Our children can use the outdoor area attached to our unit but we also take advantage of the vast outdoor space we have and ensure the children get out to explore and play in different areas. We regularly visit our outdoor learning space where the children are encouraged to take risks by climbing trees, collaborating by working together and persevering with tricky tasks such as building dens.
