As a school we have very close links with William Howard School in Brampton. Through various different events, children from as early as Year 1 and 2 get opportunities to visit the school to take part in sporting festivals and competitions,  watch music and drama performances and take part in specific transition activities during Year 6.  This really helps children to feel ready for the next stage in their education when the time comes.   

However, some of our pupils also transfer to other secondary schools such as Cardinal Newman in Carlisle and Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Penrith.  Please feel free to come and talk to us about your options so we can support you in making an informed decision and help to support your child's transition to secondary school.
